Bhagalpur to have a Sports Village
The construction of a Sports Village has been initiated in Bhagalpur. It will be the only structure in the Bhagalpur region where players can practice various outdoor and indoor sports. The aim is to provide facilities for athletes to train and for players from all over the country to come together. At least 20 acres of land is being searched for the construction of the Sports Village, with private land being marked if government land is not available. The District Magistrate has directed officials in Goradih, Sabour, Nathnagar, and Jagdishpur to present land proposals for the project.
Stadiums to be built in Schools of five blocks
Stadiums will be constructed in schools of Rangra Chauk, Narayanpur, Khariak, Ismailpur, and Goradih blocks. However, there are difficulties in finding suitable land for the construction. An official has been asked to propose an alternative site due to a shortage of land for building a stadium in Rangra Chauk. Similar requests have been made to officials for proposing land for stadiums in Narayanpur, Khariak, Ismailpur, and Goradih blocks.
Directives from the District Magistrate
In recent days, a separate department has been established for the development of sports. The District Magistrate has stated that by promoting sports activities psychologically, crime and negativity can be reduced in society. All block officials will coordinate with the District Magistrate to propose suitable land for developing sports infrastructure on school premises. If required, the District Education Officer will take necessary action regarding land issues.
Bhagalpur to gain recognition at the national level
The District Sports Officer Jaynarayan Kumar mentioned that the Sports Village will provide facilities for various outdoor and indoor sports such as cricket, kabaddi, kho-kho, football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, boxing, shooting, martial arts, badminton, etc. The village will also have training facilities for athletes and host competitions, with arrangements for player accommodation. The establishment of the Sports Village is expected to boost the local economy through increased visitor traffic and revenue from transportation, food, hotels, sports equipment stores, etc.
भागलपुर में खेल गांव का निर्माण के लिए जमीन की तलाश शुरू हो चुकी है। यह संरचना भागलपुर प्रमंडल की इकलौती होगी, जहां हर तरह के आउटडोर और इनडोर खेल खेलने की सुविधा होगी। खिलाड़ियों के लिए हॉस्टल की भी व्यवस्था रहेगी। खेल गांव के निर्माण के लिए कम से कम 20 एकड़ जमीन की तलाश की जा रही है और जमीन का प्रस्ताव उपलब्ध कराने के लिए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए गए हैं। इससे सुधरेगी भागलपुर की आर्थिक व्यवस्था और खेल के विकास में मदद मिलेगी।
