Student Leaders Protest on Campus

Today was a day filled with chaos at Purnia University as the All India Students’ Council protested on various issues by blocking the university and staging a demonstration. The AIBVP protested vigorously against the university administration. They demanded better facilities such as proper lighting and seating arrangements in the library.

Issues Raised by Student Leaders

While addressing the students, the President of AIBVP, Vikas Kumar, and District Coordinator, Chandan Kumar, highlighted the lack of basic amenities in the university premises. They mentioned the upcoming convocation ceremony and questioned the fees being charged from students. They also pointed out the non-functional computers in the library, hindering academic activities.

Demands for Immediate Solutions

The student leaders demanded immediate action from the university authorities to address the issues raised. They emphasized the need for water coolers, generators in exam halls, and improved sanitation facilities. They also called for transparency in fee structures and stricter security measures to prevent unauthorized entry into the campus.

Call for Better Infrastructure

Furthermore, the student leaders urged the university to prioritize the welfare of students by providing essential facilities like water coolers, functional computers, and clean washrooms. They stressed the importance of timely resolution of problems faced by students and the need for better coordination between different departments to ensure a conducive learning environment on campus.

आज पूर्णिया विश्वविद्यालय में छात्र नेताओं ने विभिन्न समस्याओं को लेकर विश्वविद्यालय में तालाबंदी कर दी और जमकर प्रदर्शन किया। एबीवीपी ने विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन के खिलाफ नारेबाजी की और विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर तालाबंदी की। प्रदर्शन में छात्र-छात्राओं की मांगों को लेकर विभिन्न उपायों की मांग की गई। इसके अलावा, पीजी विभाग में हर एक फ्लोर पर नॉन टीचिंग स्टाफ देने और सभी शौचालय की साफ सफाई कराने की मांग भी की गई। इस प्रदर्शन में एबीवीपी के कई कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे।
