Management of Shravani Mela
The district magistrate of Muzaffarpur, Subrat Kumar Sen, chaired a meeting to discuss crowd management and arrangements for the Shravani Mela at the famous Baba Garib Nath Temple. He directed officials to ensure necessary facilities for devotees inside and outside the temple, along the Kanwariya path, and at resting places. Instructions were given to install an adequate number of CCTV cameras at key locations, maintain cleanliness, and monitor the event effectively.
Infrastructure and Traffic Management
The district magistrate instructed the engineering department to erect watch towers and ensure proper barricading. He also directed the traffic department to focus on traffic control, parking arrangements, and signage placement along the Kanwariya path. Additionally, the electricity department was asked to inspect the condition of power lines and make necessary repairs to avoid any disruptions.
Sanitation and Health Services
Efforts were made to establish control rooms and appoint health workers to set up health camps within a 3-kilometer radius for devotees. The civil surgeon was tasked with ensuring cleanliness and monitoring water quality along with the maintenance of public toilets. The district magistrate emphasized the importance of creating a conducive environment for devotees.
Cultural Programs and Road Maintenance
To enhance the overall experience of the Shravani Mela, cultural programs were planned and a committee was formed to oversee the arrangements. Instructions were given to the municipal corporation to repair roads, while the NHAI project director was directed to improve specific road sections. The district magistrate stressed the need to keep roads in good condition to facilitate the movement of devotees.
मुजफ्फरपुर के प्रसिद्ध बाबा गरीब नाथ मंदिर में श्रावणी मेला में लाखों की संख्या में भक्त जलाभिषेक करने पहुंचते हैं। जिला पदाधिकारी सुब्रत कुमार सेन की अध्यक्षता में भीड़ प्रबंधन और विधि व्यवस्था को लेकर बैरिकेडिंग करने को कहाबैठक में जिलाधिकारी ने श्रद्धालु भक्तों की सुविधा के लिए मंदिर के अंदर, मंदिर के बाहर, कांवरिया पथ और ठहराव स्थल पर सभी आवश्यक व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश अधिकारियों को दिया। उन्होंने बुडको स्मार्ट सिटी के इंजीनियर, सीजीएम और एनएचएआई के इंजीनियर को अगली बैठक में बुलाने का निर्देश दिया। श्रद्धालु भक्तों की सुविधा के लिए जगह-जगह पर बनाए जाने वाले ठहराव स्थल पर स्नानागार, शौचालय, पेयजल, बिजली की व्यवस्था सहित अन्य आवश्यक सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने का निर्देश दिया।
