NIA bans two members of People’s Liberation Front of India
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday banned two members of the banned organization People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) identified as Nivesh Kumar alias Nivesh and Kamal Kumar alias Birendra Ganjhu. The NIA has accused them of being involved in various criminal activities including extortion, murder, and attacks on security personnel in Jharkhand.
Accused linked to PLFI
The NIA has linked Nivesh Kumar and Kamal Kumar to PLFI, a banned extremist group operating in Jharkhand and parts of Bihar. The two accused were reportedly involved in raising funds for the organization through illegal means and carrying out violent activities to further the group’s agenda.
Seizure of incriminating materials
During the investigation, the NIA seized several incriminating materials including mobile phones, SIM cards, and documents related to the activities of the accused. The agency is currently probing the extent of their involvement in the criminal activities carried out by PLFI.
Action against banned organizations
The NIA has been cracking down on banned organizations and their members to prevent further violence and maintain law and order in the region. The agency is working towards dismantling the infrastructure of such extremist groups and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (एनआईए) ने मंगलवार को प्रतिबंधित संगठन पीपुल्स लिबरेशन फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया (पीएलएफआई) के दो सदस्यों निवेश कुमार और अंकित गौर को आतंकवाद और आर्थिक अपराधों में शामिल होने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया। उन्हें दिल्ली के तिहाड़ जेल भेज दिया गया है। एनआईए ने उनके आरोपों की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
