Motihari celebrates World Day Against Child Labour
In Motihari, various programs were organized on Wednesday on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour. During this time, an oath was taken by the Department of Labor Resources to raise awareness among people. Along with this, 4 awareness vans were flagged off by DM Saurabh Jorwal and others for publicity. These vans will spread awareness about child labour in all the squares, intersections, and all blocks of the city to promote freedom from child labour.
Appeal to the people to stop child labour
The vans will also appeal to people not to engage in child labour. It was mentioned that if child labour is found, legal action will be taken against them. DM Jorwal stated that instances of children being used for work are still seen in many places during raids. To address this issue, the awareness vans have been launched.
