Two Tourists Killed in Road Accident
In a tragic incident in Bettiah, Bihar, two tourists riding a bike met with a road accident and lost their lives. The accident took place on the main road of Valmikinagar-Bagh, under the Valmikinagar police station area of the district. The deceased have been identified as Rahul Kumar (28), son of Ratan Bhagat, who died on the spot, and Vishal Kumar (30), son of Madan Prasad, who passed away during treatment.
Details of the Incident
Both the young men were residents of Siwan and had come to Valmikinagar for sightseeing. While returning from Valmikinagar, the accident occurred, resulting in their deaths. The police officer Mahesh Kumar, present at the scene, mentioned that Rahul’s body was sent to the sub-divisional hospital in Bagha for post-mortem, while Vishal passed away during treatment.
Fatal Accident near Bhedihaari Camp
According to reports, the bike rider, while trying to save a monkey near Bhedihaari Camp, lost control and collided with a tree. The bike rider died on the spot, while the pillion rider was severely injured. The injured youth lay on the road for hours, until passersby alerted the police, leading to his rescue.
Tragic End of a Vacation
Upon receiving information about the incident, SI Mahesh Kumar of Valmikinagar Police rushed to the spot with the injured person in the Dial-112 emergency service vehicle and took him to the sub-divisional hospital in Bagha. Unfortunately, he passed away during treatment. Both individuals were residents of Hospital Road in Siwan, with one working as a teacher in a private school. After enjoying their summer vacation, they went on a bike trip to Valmikinagar with friends but met with the accident on their way back.
