IMD Weather Report 12 June: After entering Kerala, monsoon is slowly spreading to other parts of the country. The pace had slowed down in between. The North-West monsoon is currently passing through Navsari, Jalgaon, Akola, Pusad, Ramagundam, Sukma, Malkangiri, Vijaynagaram, and Islampur. Conditions are favorable for advancement in Telangana and some parts of Chhattisgarh in the next 24 hours. This will bring relief to people from the scorching heat as monsoon showers begin in many states.
According to the weather department, the forecast issued at 8 am on the morning of 12 June predicts thunderstorms, lightning, and light to heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, and Sikkim over the next 7 days. Western Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, and Meghalaya are expected to receive very heavy rainfall over the next 5 days. Heavy rain is also likely in different places in Arunachal Pradesh. Heavy rainfall is expected in different places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from 13-16 June.
The weather department has also indicated that during the next 5 days, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha will experience thunderstorms, lightning, and rain in scattered places. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh will have winds blowing at speeds of 40-60 km/h and light rain. IMD has warned about strong winds and rain in Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Mahe, and Lakshadweep over the next 2 days.
IMD has also issued a warning about heatwave conditions for the next 5 days. Parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and some areas of Odisha are likely to experience heatwaves. Additionally, some areas of West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand may see an increase in temperatures. The possibility of heatwaves in some areas of Uttar Pradesh from 12-16 June is also mentioned.
12 जून की IMD मौसम रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, केरल में मॉनसून के प्रवेश के बाद अब धीरे-धीरे देश के बाकी हिस्सों में फैल रहा है। उत्तर-पश्चिमी मॉनसून अभी नवसारी, जलगांव, अकोला, पुसाद, रामागुंडम, सुकमा, मलकानगिरी, विजयनगरम और इस्लामपुर से होकर गुजर रहा है। आगामी दिनों में तेलंगाना और छत्तीसगढ़ के कुछ हिस्सों में भारी बारिश की संभावना है। इसके साथ ही, उत्तर-पूर्व भारत में भी गरज, बिजली और भारी बारिश की संभावना है। लू की भी चेतावनी जारी की गई है, जिसके कारण उत्तराखंड, पंजाब, हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़, दिल्ली और ओडिशा के कुछ हिस्सों में लू की संभावना है। इसी तरह उत्तर प्रदेश के कुछ हिस्सों में भी लू चलने की संभावना है।
