Heatwave Alert in Jharkhand
A heatwave alert has been issued in Jharkhand due to high temperatures in various districts including Garhwa, Palamu, Jamshedpur, and Saraikela. On Wednesday, Daltonganj and Saraikela Kharasawan recorded the highest temperatures, reaching 45.4 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately, three people succumbed to the heatwave in the state, with one from Ramgarh and two from Jamshedpur.
Possibility of Monsoon Entry
The India Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of clouds forming in areas like Godda, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Giridih, Gumla, and Simdega in Jharkhand after June 15th. Sahibganj also anticipates rainfall. The onset of the monsoon is expected around June 15th in the state.
Weather Conditions in the State
Over the past 24 hours, some parts of Jharkhand experienced rainfall accompanied by thunder. Haripur in Dumka district recorded the highest rainfall at 10.2 mm. The state also faced the impact of heatwaves, with Saraikela recording the highest temperature at 45.4 degrees Celsius and Ranchi recording the lowest at around 26.5 degrees Celsius.
Temperature Rising Above 40 Degrees
Except for three districts, temperatures in Jharkhand have risen above 40 degrees across all areas. Sahibganj recorded a temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius, Pakur at 36.9 degrees Celsius, and Jamtara at 39.7 degrees Celsius, being the hottest. The state continues to face challenging weather conditions due to the heatwave.
झारखंड में हीटवेव को लेकर आज भी अलर्ट जारी है। गढ़वा, पलामू, जमशेदपुर, सरायकेला सहित कई जिलों में गुरुवार को भी हीट वेव चल सकती है। बुधवार को डालटनगंज और सरायकेला खरसावां सबसे गर्म रहा। मौसम विभाग ने मानसून की एंट्री की संभावना जाहिर की है और बारिश के आसार भी हैं। राज्य में तीन मौतें हुई हैं और तापमान 40 के पार पहुंच गया है। सबसे अधिक तापमान सरायकेला में दर्ज किया गया है जबकि रांची में सबसे न्यूनतम तापमान दर्ज किया गया है।
