Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturing company, Bounce Infinity, has launched a new electric scooter in the Indian market for customers searching for affordable options. The new electric scooter model is called “Bounce Infinity E1X” and comes with a swappable battery, which is its key feature. The company claims that this electric scooter is available at half the price of petrol-run electric scooters. Additionally, the running cost of this electric scooter is also one-third less as compared to petrol-run scooters.
Bounce Infinity has launched the E1X electric scooter with swappable battery in two different variants. The base variant of the scooter offers a top speed of 55 km/h, while the top variant provides a top speed of 65 km/h. The company has said that this electric scooter will be available for sale in the Indian market in June 2024. The swappable battery feature is available through a network of stations spread across the country. After the battery is depleted, users can replace it with a fully charged battery pack at any network station, which saves time and reduces range anxiety.
The price of the base variant of the Bounce Infinity E1X electric scooter starts at INR 55,000, while the top variant costs INR 59,000. Customers can purchase the affordable electric scooter by visiting the company’s website and booking it for INR 499. The electric scooter uses a 1.9 kWh lithium-ion removable battery, which provides a range of 65 km on a single charge. The scooter is powered by a 1500-volt BLDC hub motor, which gives it a top speed of up to 65 km/h. The company has also contributed to the manufacturing of an electric scooter with a top speed of 92 km/h.
