Young man found dead in Dhobaha Bazaar, wife accuses in-laws of murder
In the Dhobaha Bazaar area of Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district, a young man was found dead. The deceased, identified as 26-year-old Chandan Kumar, was a resident of Dhobaha Bazaar. His body was found in an old house. The father of the deceased, Ajay Kumar Gupta, mentioned that Chandan had left home on Monday afternoon and never returned. The house where his body was found is an old, abandoned one.
Chandan’s mysterious death raises questions
Chandan got married earlier this year on January 21 in Varanasi. His father, Ajay Kumar Gupta, stated that Chandan would sometimes visit that old house with his friends. On the day he went missing, he had left home with his wife’s mangalsutra. The discovery of his body in that same house has left many unanswered questions about his death.
Father informs police about foul smell from old house
When villagers informed Ajay Kumar Gupta about a foul smell coming from his old house, he immediately went to investigate. Upon reaching the house, he found the shutter open and a padlock on the gate from outside. He then informed the local police station about the situation. The police arrived, broke the lock, and found Chandan’s body in a critical condition, with his face swollen and bleeding. An investigation into the case has been initiated.
Postmortem conducted to determine cause of death
After cutting the bandage around Chandan’s body, the police took him to the postmortem center at the district hospital. The cause of his death is yet to be determined. The case remains under investigation as the family and authorities seek to unravel the mystery behind Chandan’s untimely demise.
