Stone pelting incident in Bhagalpur
In Bhagalpur, a stone pelting incident occurred between two groups. During this incident, a youth passing by was hit by a stone on his head. He was admitted to the Sultanaganj Referral Hospital for treatment. The incident took place at a mobile shop in Maheshi, where some youths were present.
Accusations and Hospitalization
Although the shopkeepers, Mo. Kaif and Sajan, denied any involvement in the incident and stated that they did not harm the youth. The incident took place in the Sultanaganj police station area of Maheshi. Both the injured individuals have been taken into custody at the hospital for treatment.
Police Investigation and Arrest
One of the accused, Mohammad Kaif, claimed that the police called him from his house and arrested him, although he denies any involvement in the matter. The injured victim, Balram Mandal, mentioned that a dispute was ongoing between 5-6 boys when the incident occurred, resulting in his injury.
Current Situation and Police Inquiry
Following the incident, the police have taken two individuals, Mohammad Kaif and Mohammad Sajan, into custody. The injured victim has been hospitalized for treatment, and the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. Efforts to contact the Sultanaganj police station chief were unsuccessful due to the late hour.
