After her marriage, Daisy Rani found herself alone at home all day as her husband went to work. She decided to start a business that could be done from home. With the help of YouTube, she discovered the paper plate industry and realized it was the perfect opportunity for her. Through government schemes, she received a grant of ₹2 lakh and kickstarted her business from home.
A Sustainable Business Model
Daisy Rani’s paper plate and bowl business has been running smoothly, generating a net profit of ₹50,000 per month. Whether it’s a wedding, a birthday, or a party, there is always a demand for her paper products. With a production capacity of 20,000 pieces per month, she incurs a cost of ₹12 for a plate and ₹3.5 for a bowl. After deducting all expenses, she earns a net profit of ₹45,000 to ₹50,000 every month, showcasing the success of her entrepreneurial journey.
