Woman Found Dead in Suspicious Circumstances in Nalanda
In Nalanda, a married woman was found dead in suspicious circumstances on Thursday. The incident took place in Sadu Bigaha village under the jurisdiction of Nagarnausa police station. The deceased was identified as Muskan Kumari, the 20-year-old wife of Neetish Kumar, a resident of Sadu Bigaha village under the Nagarnausa police station area. Her brother, Digvijay Kumar, revealed that the family learned from relatives that Muskan Kumari had been beaten to death by her in-laws. When they reached her in-laws’ house, they found her body lying there, and the family had fled.
Police Statement and Family’s Allegations
The family of the deceased alleged that after Muskan Kumari’s marriage to Neetish Kumar, her in-laws had been harassing her for money. They had demanded Rs. 45,000 from the family recently, and when they refused to pay, she was murdered. The police have taken the body for post-mortem to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital and are investigating the case. The in-laws of the woman are currently on the run.
Previous Incidents and Police Action
A year ago, Devendra Yadav, a resident of Bheriya village in the Chandi police station area, had married his daughter Muskan Kumari to Neetish Kumar, a resident of Sadu Bigaha village under the Nagarnausa police station area. The family claimed that after the marriage, her in-laws had been pressuring her for money. The police have stated that they will take action once the investigation is complete. The body of the woman showed signs of injuries in various parts.
नालंदा में गुरुवार को एक विवाहिता की संदिग्ध स्थिति में मौत हो गई। मृतका की पहचान नगरनौसा थाना क्षेत्र के सदु बिगहा गांव निवासी नीतीश कुमार की (20) वर्षीया पत्नी मुस्कान कुमारी के रूप में की गई। घटना के संबंध में मृतका के भाई दिग्विजय कुमार ने बताया कि उसकी बहन मुस्कान कुमारी की पीट-पीट कर हत्या कर दी गई। इसके बाद बहन के ससुराल पहुंचे जहां देखा कि शव घर में पड़ा हुआ। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए बिहार शरीफ सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया है। फिलहाल ससुराल का परिवार घटना के बाद फरार है। जांच जारी है।
