Incident Details

In the village of Shivrajpur in the Kuchayakot police station area of Gopalganj district, Bihar, a dispute arose between two parties over a goat entering a field, leading to physical violence. The situation escalated to the point where a woman lost her life in the incident. The police, upon receiving information, took the body for postmortem to the Gopalganj Sadar Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Ramvati Devi (49), wife of the late Vidya Kushwaha, a resident of Shivrajpur village in the Kuchayakot police station area of the district.

Attack by Neighbor

According to information, the deceased Ramvati Devi’s goat had entered the field of her neighbor Ram Ayodhya Kushwaha. This led to a verbal altercation between both parties, which eventually turned into physical violence. The relatives of the deceased allege that the neighbor attacked the woman with kicks and blows, resulting in her death. The police conducted a postmortem at the Sadar Hospital and handed over the body to the family members.

Suspected Heart Attack

In this case, the Kuchayakot police station in-charge Sunil Kumar mentioned that a dispute between two women arose over the goat entering the field, leading to the death of one of the women. Initially, the suspicion is on a heart attack as the cause of death. However, no formal complaint has been lodged by the family members yet. Further investigation will be conducted based on any complaints received and the postmortem report.
