Sheikhpura Police Rescues Missing Teenage Girl
Sheikhpura’s Chevada Thana police once again showcased humanity by reuniting a 17-year-old girl who had gone missing from her home with her family, commendable work. Just 4 days ago, Chevada Thana police had rescued a 10-year-old boy who had gone missing from nearby Lakhisarai and reached Sheikhpura. The police sub-inspector Jang Bahadur Ray stationed at Chevada Thana informed that on Friday, the teenage girl was found wandering in a lost state in Chevada Bazaar. Local residents informed the police about her, and as soon as the information was received, the local police reached the market and brought the girl to the station.
Identification and Reunion
The girl had suddenly left her home 5 days ago. After thorough questioning, the rescued girl was able to provide her family name and address. The verification of the information provided by the girl was done by Kosumbha Thana police. It was confirmed that the rescued girl was identified as Anjali Kumari, the daughter of Shankar Kumar, a resident of Devala village under the Kosumbha Thana area. The family members of the girl were sent to Chevada Thana by the Kosumbha Thana police for the reunion.
Reunion with Family
When the girl’s father Shankar Kumar reached the Thana, his lost daughter was handed over to him. He mentioned that his daughter is mentally unwell, which led to her sudden disappearance from home 5 days ago. The search operation was being carried out by the family members. The family members were visibly happy to see their daughter safe and sound after being rescued.
