Education Minister’s Statement on NEET UG Paper Leak
Regarding the NEET UG paper leak issue, Giriraj Singh mentioned that Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has intervened in the matter and personally spoke to students and their parents about the more than 1500 disputed results. The Education Minister assured them of appropriate solutions.
Textile Sector as Largest Employment Provider
Giriraj Singh stated that after agriculture, the textile sector is the largest employment provider. It is also one of the highest exporting sectors in the country. Efforts are being made in Bihar as well, with a roadmap created for the textile sector. Talks have been held with officials and people associated with the textile industry. A revolution in the textile sector is expected in places like Muzaffarpur and Begusarai in the coming days.
Consideration for Taxation Reforms by Kerala Government
Giriraj Singh suggested that the Kerala government should reconsider and make amendments in taxation like other states. They should review their excise tax and reduce VAT as well. It is worth mentioning that Giriraj Singh, the MP of Begusarai, visited the region for the first time after becoming the Minister of Textiles in the Modi government’s third term, where he was warmly welcomed by party workers.
