Heatwave Claims the Life of a Laborer in Bihar
The threat of heatwave is increasing day by day in Bihar. A recent incident occurred near the Bhavangama village in the Beerpur police station area of Begusarai district, where a laborer lost his life due to heatstroke. The deceased laborer has been identified as Santosh Singh, a resident of Bhavangama village in the Beerpur police station area.
Laborer Working on NH-31 Succumbs to Heatstroke
According to the family members of the deceased, Santosh Singh was working as a laborer on the construction of a four-lane NH-31. He suffered a heatstroke due to the extreme heat while working and collapsed on the spot. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital for treatment, where he unfortunately passed away during the treatment.
Authorities Notified and Police Takes Action
Upon receiving information about the incident, the family members informed the Beerpur police station. The police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Further investigations and actions are being carried out by the police in response to the incident.
