Heatwave Alert in Jharkhand

The residents of Jharkhand may not get relief from the heat in the next two days as the monsoon might be delayed. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for severe heatwave in Garhwa and Palamu, while a yellow alert has been issued in several other districts.

Rainfall in Some Parts

There is a possibility of light rain in some parts of Jharkhand, providing some relief from the scorching heat. In the last 24 hours, light rainfall has been recorded in certain areas, bringing relief to the people. The westernmost district of Singhbhum recorded the highest rainfall, while Saraikela remained the hottest.

Orange Alert for Heatwave

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heatwave in Jharkhand on June 18, 19, and 20. The danger of heatwave will be highest in Garhwa, Palamu, and Chatra on June 18, while other parts of the state may experience clouds and the possibility of rain.

Weather Forecast for Ranchi

The Meteorological Department has forecasted a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius in the capital city of Ranchi on June 17. There is a possibility of light rainfall and thunderstorms in Ranchi with a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.
