Police Investigation in Progress
In Muzaffarpur, a heinous crime has been committed in the name of employment. Several girls have been sexually exploited by the criminals of a chit fund company. The entire administrative machinery is shaken up after the incident. One victim managed to escape from the clutches of these criminals and exposed the dark deeds of the company. She is demanding strict punishment for the culprits from the Bihar government. The incident took place in the Ahilyapur area of Muzaffarpur, where around 180 girls were lured with job offers and then subjected to physical and sexual abuse.
Deception in the Name of Salary Increase
A victim from Chapra district filed a case at the Ahilyapur police station regarding the deceitful tactics used to exploit her and many other girls in the name of job opportunities. Through a job offer post on social media, she got involved with a company named DVAR. After being selected, she was asked to pay Rs. 20,000 for training. Later, she was kept in a house near the Bakri area of Ahilyapur where she was promised a salary increase of Rs. 50,000 if she could bring in 50 more girls to the organization.
Police Raid in Hostel, Rescuing Several Girls
The victim girl revealed that when she was unable to recruit more people, she was pressured and advised to add contacts from her mobile’s contact list. She was not aware of the company’s true nature and started connecting people with the company in exchange for money. Meanwhile, a police raid was conducted at the alleged office of the organization in Ahilyapur and a hostel, where many girls were rescued by the police.
Forced Abortion and Threats of Violence
The victim girl accused Tilak Singh of forcing her into physical relations and impregnating her. When she got pregnant, she was forcefully made to undergo an abortion. When she insisted on going back to her parents’ place, she was threatened with violence. The victim revealed that in this chit fund company, 180 girls were trapped with job offers, leading to physical abuse and exploitation of many girls. The government is conducting a serious investigation into the case and demanding strict punishment for the guilty. The search for the culprits is ongoing.
