Wife Murdered After Opposing Illicit Relationship
In the village of Birdeepur in the Simri Thana area of Darbhanga, Bihar, a woman named Phoolo Devi (37) was brutally murdered by her husband Kailash Sahni for opposing his illicit relationship. The Simri Thana police sent the body for postmortem upon receiving the information. The father of the deceased, Yoginder Sahni, has filed a complaint in this case.
Father’s Statement on the Incident
Yoginder Sahni, the father of the deceased, revealed that his daughter Phoolo Devi had married Kailash Sahni’s son Birju Sahni 22 years ago in Birdeepur village of the Simri Thana area. The couple had two sons and a daughter. Phoolo Devi was continuously opposing Kailash Sahni’s illicit relationship with another woman, which led to conflicts between them.
Domestic Dispute Leads to Tragic Outcome
A recent dispute between the husband and wife escalated to physical violence, resulting in the husband severely injuring his wife. She was admitted to the DMCH for treatment, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries. The husband fled after leaving her body behind, causing further complications in the case.
Police Action and Investigation
The Simri Thana SHO, Veerendra Chaudhary, informed that the body was sent for postmortem upon receiving the information. A complaint has been filed by the father of the deceased, Yoginder Sahni, and a primary investigation has been initiated. Further actions will be taken after a thorough investigation of the case.
