Modern Super Specialty Hospital ready in Bhagalpur

The largest hospital in Eastern Bihar, Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital, is now gearing up for a major change. A state-of-the-art super specialty hospital has been established in the district with all necessary processes almost complete. Several modern machines have been installed in the hospital, and multiple departments have been set up. Despite missing several deadlines in the past, a date of July 20 has been set for the inauguration of this hospital.

Benefits for the People of Eastern Bihar

The establishment of a super specialty hospital in Bhagalpur will provide significant convenience to the people of Eastern Bihar. Previously, critical patients from Mayaganj Hospital were referred to Patna, Siliguri, or Delhi. With the new super specialty hospital, these referred patients can now be admitted locally. The hospital has departments like Neurology, Cardiology, Surgery, OPD, ICU, and more, with about 6-7 departments already functioning. The hospital is equipped with MRI machines and modern facilities to ensure a hassle-free experience for patients.

Prime Minister Likely to Inaugurate

The nodal officer of the super specialty hospital in Bhagalpur, Mahesh Kumar, mentioned the installation of various modern machines for easy patient treatment. Although the hospital is not yet operational, a decision to inaugurate it on July 20 was made during a recent health department meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the hospital, after which patient treatments will commence immediately.
