Jharkhand Weather Forecast
In the capital city of Jharkhand, Ranchi, and surrounding areas, light clouds were observed on Monday, leading to increased humidity and heat. The maximum temperature recorded in Ranchi was 39.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 26.2 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts partial cloud cover in the region over the next 24 hours, with occasional strong winds, thunder, and light rain prompting an orange alert.
Heat Alert in Palamu Region
A yellow alert for heat has been issued in the Palamu region of Jharkhand. The weather department forecasts a slight drop in temperature on Tuesday due to cloud cover. However, the night may bring increased humidity before the onset of the South-East monsoon process, expected to enter parts of Bihar and Bengal in the next four days before reaching Jharkhand.
Rainfall Distribution
In the last 24 hours, rainfall was recorded in the vicinity of Ranchi, with the highest rainfall of 6.1 mm in Ramgarh. Light rain was also reported in Bokaro and Namkum in Ranchi. People in places like Bokaro and Khunti experienced relief from the heat due to strong winds. A weak low-pressure area has formed from Northern Bihar to the Gangetic region of West Bengal.
Weather Forecast for the Next Three Days
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Ranchi Center, strong winds are expected in several parts of the state from June 18 to 20, with speeds reaching 40-50 km/h. Thunderstorms are also likely, along with light to moderate rainfall. A yellow heat alert has been issued in areas around Palamu and Garhwa districts on Tuesday, while light clouds are expected in various parts of the state.
झारखंड की राजधानी रांची और आसपास के क्षेत्र में सोमवार को हल्के बादल छाए रहे जिससे उमस भरी गर्मी बढ़ गई। रांची में अधिकतम तापमान 39.2 डिग्री और न्यूनतम 26.2 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया। राजधानी और आसपास के क्षेत्र में अगले 24 घंटे के दौरान आंशिक बादल छाए रहेंगे और तेज हवा और गरज तथा वज्रपात के साथ हल्की बारिश का ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। भारतीय मौसम विज्ञान विभाग के अनुसार, रांची के कई हिस्सों में 18 से 20 जून तक तेज हवा चलेगी और वज्रपात की संभावना है। मंगलवार को पलामू और गढ़वा जिले में लू चलने का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
