Police Arrests Accused Involved in Truck Scam

The Sadar police have taken Satyendra Singh, accused of making over 300 trucks disappear on lease from various districts in North Bihar, including Muzaffarpur, into custody. The police team from Sadar Thana has arrived in Chhattisgarh to bring him back to Muzaffarpur for further proceedings. Singh, a resident of Bhagwanpur Yadav Nagar in Sadar Thana area, is facing more than 50 charges related to making trucks disappear on lease. Currently, he is in jail in Chhattisgarh.

Trucks Transported Between States

The accused, Satyendra Singh, was involved in changing the chassis number of trucks on lease and selling them to others by falsifying documents. He also prepared fake documents for the trucks and sold them to other owners to avoid suspicion and doubts. Several people, including an RTO employee, were caught by the Chhattisgarh police in this case. The main accused, Satyendra Singh, was apprehended in a major scam involving a group.

Involvement of Truck Operators and Officials

Several truck operators, along with officials from RTO and DTO departments, were involved in the fraudulent activities carried out by Satyendra Singh. More than 50 truck owners in Sadar Thana, Muzaffarpur, have filed complaints against Singh for making the leased trucks disappear. Due to the complexity of tampering with the truck’s chassis number without the involvement of department officials, the Chhattisgarh police caught several people, including Satyendra Singh, in this case.

Case Considered Serious, Muzaffarpur Police to Take Action Soon

After thorough interrogation of the accused, Satyendra Singh, the police team may obtain crucial evidence in this case. City SP Avdhesh Dixit confirmed that a team from the district police has reached Chhattisgarh and will bring Singh back to Muzaffarpur in the coming days for further investigation. Singh has not yet been handed over to the Muzaffarpur police. The case is being considered serious, and further action will be taken soon.
