Bihar Monsoon Update
Bihar residents, who have been suffering from intense heat and loo, can now look forward to some relief as the monsoon is expected to arrive soon. The weather department has predicted the monsoon to enter Bihar on June 20, bringing much-needed rain to various cities in the state.

According to the weather department, the monsoon is expected to move towards Bihar from Bengal on June 19. Heavy rainfall is predicted in several districts of Bihar on June 22, with the monsoon making its way through Purnia. Before the arrival of the monsoon, some parts of Bihar experienced rainfall, offering a glimpse of relief to the residents.

Weather scientist Anand Shankar stated that the southwest monsoon’s trajectory lies between Bihar and Bengal, with the arrival in Kishanganj and Purnia. With the onset of monsoon, heavy rainfall is expected in the regions around June 20, providing respite from the scorching heat. However, some districts in Bihar are still under the orange alert due to the possibility of intense heat waves.
