Accident in Nalanda
A young man who was injured in a road accident in Nalanda died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Patna on Wednesday night. The incident took place near Ramapur Mod in the Bind Thana area. The deceased was identified as Gajadhar Mahato, a resident of Badi Gharari village in the Sarmera Thana area.
Details of the Accident
The victim’s relatives mentioned that Shatrughan Mahato and Akhand Kirtan were heading to Jahanag village in the Bind Thana area to participate in a religious event. While trying to overtake, a speeding truck collided with their bike near Ramapur Mod on the main Bihata-Sarmera road, causing serious injuries to Shatrughan Mahato.
Treatment and Transfer
With the help of locals, the police admitted Shatrughan Mahato to the primary health center in Bind for treatment. Due to his critical condition, he was later referred to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital and then to a higher center in Patna for further treatment. Unfortunately, he passed away during the treatment process.
Post-Mortem and Investigation
On Thursday morning, the family members reached the Bind Thana with the body, where the police took custody of the body and sent it to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The Bind Thana President, Roshan Kumar, confirmed that the truck involved in the accident has been seized, and the police are investigating the entire case.
नालंदा में सड़क हादसे में जख्मी युवक की मौत हो गई। मृतक की पहचान सरमेरा थाना क्षेत्र के बड़ी घरयारी गांव निवासी गजाधर महतो के (40) वर्षीय प.घटना में हाईवा ने उनकी बाइक में टक्कर मारी थी। गंभीर जख्मों के कारण उनकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने हाईवा को जब्त कर लिया है और पूरे मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
