The situation in many blocks such as Kanti, Bochaha, Katra, Motipur, Madhuban, Kudhani has become critical. Farmers have raised their concerns with the district administration and the government to ensure timely planting of paddy.
Agriculture Department to Provide Diesel Subsidy Soon
In the case, District Magistrate Subrat Sen mentioned that increasing heat and lack of rain have increased troubles. We are serious about ensuring that farmers can plant paddy. The Agriculture Department has been directed in this direction. Along with this, the diesel subsidy amount should be provided as soon as possible so that farmers can irrigate their fields.
