In a tragic incident in Sohagpur village in the Hatha Thana area of Gopalganj, a 17-year-old girl named Rekha Kumari hanged herself using her own dupatta. The police arrived at the scene after receiving information and have sent the body for post-mortem at the Sadar Hospital. The entire case is under investigation.
Family Dispute Leads to Suicide
It is reported that the deceased had a dispute with her mother, which led to her taking this extreme step. She went to her room in anger on Wednesday night and locked herself in. When the door did not open on Thursday morning, her family became worried. Despite several attempts to open the door, it remained locked. When they finally broke the door, they found her body hanging from a noose.

The family immediately informed the police, who arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem. The Hatha Thana DSP Pooja Prasad stated that the information was received promptly, and the post-mortem will help determine the cause of death. It has been revealed that the girl was scolded by her mother, which may have prompted her to take such a drastic step.
