Incident in Betiah: Youth shot by criminals
In Betiah, criminals riding a bike have shot and injured a young man. The incident took place near Churaman Patti Baikunthwa village in the Nautan police station area of the district. The police have launched an investigation into the matter upon receiving the information. The injured youth has been admitted to the hospital for treatment by his family.
Identity of the victim
The injured youth has been identified as Prakash Raushan, also known as Bullet Srivastava, the 32-year-old son of Paras Srivastava from Churaman Patti Baikunthwa village. The case has been registered against unknown criminals based on the statement of the injured victim. The police are working on arresting the criminals soon, while also looking into the reasons behind the incident.
Details of the incident
According to the family members, Prakash Raushan had gone to Baikunthwa Chowk for some work from his home. While returning home around 9 PM, two criminals on a bike near the garden carried out the incident and fled. The villagers who heard the gunshot informed the family and the police about the incident. The injured youth was admitted to the hospital for treatment, and the police are investigating the entire case.
