Deal to Sell Newborn Baby at Bhagalpur Medical College
An incident of a deal to sell a newborn baby has come to light from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Bhagalpur. A father sold his newborn daughter for Rs. 40,000, taking an advance of Rs. 500 from the buyer on Wednesday. The remaining amount was to be paid on Thursday night. When the mother found out, she protested, leading to a commotion as the buyer was trying to take the baby away.
Arrest of the Accused
The mother’s sister reached the emergency control room of Mayaganj Hospital and complained to the health manager. The deal for the baby was done at Rs. 40,000. The arrested father and buyer, along with security guards, were brought to the hospital. The police were informed, and the father Kundan Kumar and the buyer Imtiaz Ansari, residents of Barari, were arrested.
Birth of the Baby
The mother of the baby, Nisha Kumari Barari, lives with her 4 children and husband Kundan Kumar in Barari. Nisha was admitted to the hospital on Friday night due to labor pains. Doctors referred her to Mayaganj Hospital citing a blood deficiency. She delivered a baby girl through a C-section, making it her fifth child. Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ansari’s sister-in-law was also admitted to the same hospital.
Accusations and Arrest
Imtiaz Ansari had a conversation with Kundan himself, who agreed to give away his daughter. The deal was finalized at Rs. 40,000, with an advance of Rs. 500 paid by Imtiaz. On Wednesday, Imtiaz took the advance and kept Nisha’s jewelry as security. He later paid Rs. 40,000 and got the stamp paper prepared by a clerk in the court by paying Rs. 1000. However, the matter came to light when Nisha arrived, leading to the arrest of the accused.
भागलपुर के जवाहरलाल नेहरू मेडिकल कॉलेज से नवजात का सौदा करने का मामला सामने आया है, जिसमें एक पिता ने नवजात बेटी का 40 हजार रुपए में सौदा कर लिया। बुधवार को खरीदार से 500 रुपए एडवांस भी ले लिए थे। बाकी रुपए गुरुवार रात को देने थे, जिसका पता चलते ही मां ने विरोध किया। इसके बाद हंगामा शुरू हो गया और खरीदार मां की गोद से बेटी को छीनने की कोशिश कर रहा था। मां की मौसी ने इस मामले की शिकायत की और गिरफ्तार पिता और खरीदार को सुरक्षा गार्ड के साथ पुलिस के हाथों में सौंप दिया। निशा कुमारी ने शुक्रवार को एक बच्ची को जन्म दिया, जिसके बाद उसके पति और खरीदार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। जेलनमच के अधीक्षक डॉक्टर राकेश कुमार ने सुरक्षा के लिए सभी पर नजर रखने का आदेश दिया है।
