Assault on ASHA Worker and Husband in Banka
An ASHA worker and her husband were brutally beaten by goons in the Suiya Thana area of Banka. The incident was captured on video, where the ASHA worker can be seen trying to protect herself while the goons continue to beat her with sticks. Both the ASHA worker and her husband sustained injuries during the attack. The goons threatened to kill the ASHA worker if she did not leave her home.
Complaint Filed with Local Police
Based on the video evidence and the complaint filed by the ASHA worker, Renu Devi, the local police have registered a case and taken action against the perpetrators. Renu Devi stated that she was attacked with sticks and rods due to an old dispute, resulting in serious injuries to both her and her husband.
ASHA Worker Seeks Justice
Renu Devi, an ASHA worker from Bandari village in the Suiya Thana area under Katoria block, has filed a complaint against several individuals in the village for the assault. She had recently helped a woman deliver a baby at the Chandan Hospital and was returning home when the attack took place. The community health center staff and ASHA members have demanded strict action against the perpetrators.

The OP in-charge of Suiya, Vishal Kumar, confirmed that a case has been registered based on the complaint filed by the victim, Renu Devi. The police are conducting raids to arrest the accused individuals involved in the assault.
