Tragic Death of Woman in Bhojpur District
In the Dumaria village of Gadahani police station area in Bhojpur district, a woman named Kanchan Devi, aged 25, lost her life on Friday. As soon as the information was received, the local police reached the spot and took the body in their possession for postmortem at Ara Sadar Hospital.
Allegations of Harassment by In-Laws
The deceased woman’s brother, Santosh Kumar, mentioned that ever since her marriage, her husband and in-laws had been harassing her for not providing a gold chain and a bike. They even resorted to physical violence when she protested against their demands.
Severe Injuries and Hospitalization
The family members of the deceased woman from her maternal home were devastated by her condition. She had suffered severe injuries during the physical assault, which led to her being admitted to the hospital. The treatment was initially started at Ara Sadar Hospital before being referred to Patna due to the seriousness of her injuries.
Investigation Ongoing
The woman had three brothers ★Santosh, Niranjan, Madhu Ranjan, and four sisters ★Kalavati Devi, Prabhavati Devi, Phoolvanti Devi, who were deeply affected by her tragic demise. The police are currently investigating the case to uncover the truth behind the woman’s untimely death.
