Murder of Block Worker in Muzaffarpur
In a tragic incident in Muzaffarpur district, criminals shot and killed a bike-borne block worker named Deepak Kumar alias Chandan Kumar, who was a resident of Kathaiya Thana area. He was returning home in Bairiya field near the Ahhiyapur Thana area after finishing duty in Kesariya block. The incident occurred near the NH shore of the Kali Mandir in the Kant Thana area of the district. He was shot in the chest by unknown criminals while on his way back home.
Police Investigation and Death
Upon receiving information, the police reached the spot and rushed him to a private hospital, where his condition was critical. Relatives also arrived at the hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. A bike and laptop were recovered from the crime scene, but the motive behind the incident is still unclear.
Victim’s Identity and Investigation
The deceased has been identified as a resident of Kathaiya, with a house also in Kolhua, Ahhiyapur Thana area, where he was heading. He was carrying a laptop bag, which was found at the crime scene. His phone, however, was not recovered. The investigation is ongoing to uncover the truth behind this tragic incident.
