Bhojpuri singer Anupama Yadav appeared in the Bettiah court on Saturday, where she was presented before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Bharati Kumari in a case of violation of the Model Code of Conduct. After hearing arguments from both sides, Anupama Yadav was granted bail.

Following the municipal elections in 2022, Anupama Yadav was accused of using loudspeakers and gathering a crowd during an event organized by Mayor Garima Devi Sikariya in Bettiah. An FIR was filed against her at the local police station. However, the court granted her bail as there was no evidence of any wrongdoing on her part.
Legal Proceedings
Anupama Yadav’s advocate, Abhishek Tiwari, explained that a case was registered against her under sections 188/171(F)/171(H) of the Indian Penal Code at the Bettiah police station. She was present in court today and was granted bail in the case related to the alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
