Threat to Bihar CMO Office
An email threat to bomb the Bihar Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has caused panic. The threatening email was sent directly to the official email ID of the CMO. The email contained alarming language, mentioning about bombing the CMO office and causing chaos in government offices. The matter was reported to the Patna police, leading to the registration of an FIR on August 2nd for further investigation.
Threatening Email Incident
The threatening email regarding bombing the CMO office was received on July 10th. The email was sent from the ID ‘achw700@gmail.com’. The police are now investigating the origin of the email ID and whether it was sent by any terrorist group. The FIR has been registered, and the investigation has begun to identify the sender of the threatening email.
FIR Registration and Investigation
The Station House Officer, Inspector Sanjeev Kumar, has registered an FIR based on his statement. He is also leading the investigation as the Investigation Officer (IO) in this case. The police are taking the threat seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation to ensure the safety of government offices.

Sending threats through social media or email is a punishable offense. The sender of the threatening email will be charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.
