Tragic Road Accident During Shravani Mela 2024
Another incident of a road accident involving pilgrims heading to Babadham Deoghar during the Shravani Mela 2024 has come to light in Bihar. In Bhagalpur, a pilgrim riding a bike was killed after being hit by a container. Another devotee was injured in the accident and has been sent to the hospital for treatment. The incident took place in the Bansitikar area of Sabour Thana.
Details of the Accident
According to information received, two pilgrims, who were relatives and brothers-in-law, were traveling to Babadham Deoghar on a bike. Near the Bansitikar Breaker in Bhagalpur, they suddenly came in contact with a container. The container hit the bike from behind, resulting in the death of Sagar Gwala from Siliguri Rajganj Thana (around 45 years old). Meanwhile, Saurabh Kumar from Katihar was injured in the accident and has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
