Tejashwi Yadav’s Social Media Post
Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the opposition leader, took to social media on Sunday to announce that in his short 17-month tenure, his government in Bihar has increased the reservation limit for Dalits/Backwards and Adivasis from 65% to 70%, based on caste-based census data. However, the central and state governments are against reservations, so the 65% reservation provided by his government in Bihar is not included in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution.
Focus on Social and Economic Justice
Tejashwi emphasized the need for social and economic justice for all sections of society. He stated that during his tenure, over 5 lakh youth were provided with government jobs and more than 3 lakh job opportunities were initiated. He questioned why the previous Chief Minister and the NDA government did not provide as many jobs in the past 17 years, and why caste-based census was not conducted or reservation limits not increased.
Criticism of Lalu Prasad and Family
BJP spokesperson Kuntal Krishna criticized Lalu Prasad and his family, accusing them of only caring about their own interests and not the welfare of the people. He stated that the fight for social justice is led by the BJP, while Lalu Prasad and his family only focus on their own benefits and reservations for their family members.
Selfish Politics of Lalu Prasad
Krishna further highlighted that whenever Lalu Prasad or his family come to power, their priority is to secure reservations for their family members. They demand reservations in all aspects, from politics to other sectors, solely for the benefit of their family, without any concern for others. Their political agenda revolves around their family’s interests, rather than the welfare of the general public.
नेता प्रतिपक्ष तेजस्वी प्रसाद यादव ने सोशल मीडिया पर लिखा है कि उनकी सरकार ने बिहार में जातिगत आधारित गणना करके आरक्षण का दायरा बढ़ाकर 7.5% आरक्षण सीमा को रुकवा दिया है। उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी सरकार ने 3 लाख से अधिक नौकरियों की प्रक्रिया शुरू करवाई है और सामाजिक न्याय के साथ-साथ आर्थिक न्याय के लिए प्रयासरत रहेंगे। उन्होंने लालू प्रसाद और उनके परिवार को भाजपा की चिंता करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि लालू प्रसाद और उनका परिवार सिर्फ और सिर्फ अपने लिए जीतते हैं और राजनीति में आकर अपने परिवार के लिए ही आरक्षण मांगते हैं।
