Injured Youth Admitted to Sadar Hospital

An incident occurred in Belari village of Ujiyarpur police station area in Samastipur, where a youth was attacked with a knife on his neck by a friend after a dispute among friends on Sunday night. The injured youth was admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment where he is in critical condition.

Details of the Incident

The mother of the injured youth, Baby Devi, revealed that Sunny, along with his friends Jackie and Santosh from the same village, had been involved in a dispute for the past 3 days. The argument escalated after Jackie put a dirty leaf on a tree and made Sunny smell it. Despite Sunny not retaliating, the harassment continued.

Assault and Hospitalization

On Sunday night around 9 pm, Sunny was called near the school on the pretext of a meeting, where Santosh, Jackie, and others beat him up and then attacked him with a knife on his neck, leaving him severely injured. Sunny managed to escape and reach home, where his family rushed him to Sadar Hospital for immediate treatment. After initial treatment, he has been referred to PMCH for better medical care.

Police Involvement and Further Action

The hospital administration has informed the local police about the incident, and a police team has been sent to investigate the matter. However, due to the critical condition of Sunny, his statement has not been recorded yet. He has been referred to PMCH for further treatment, and the Ujiyarpur police will take necessary action in this case.
