Lalit Narayan Mithila University PhD Admission
It has become difficult to pursue a PhD from Lalit Narayan Mithila University as 50% reservation for NET-JRF qualified candidates has disrupted the plans of aspiring students. The upcoming PhD entrance exam in 2023 will fill 50% of the total vacant seats with JRF candidates. 50% of the designated seats for PhD will be reserved for NET qualified researchers.
PhD Entrance Exam Preparation
The PhD entrance exam (PAT-2023) at Mithila University is scheduled to take place in November. The advisory committee has been formed to oversee the preparations. Department heads and research council chiefs have been instructed to update information about research work and registration status in the office for review.
Previous Year’s Exam Controversy
Last year, the decision to conduct the exam in July was made after students had faced uncertainty for the past two years. The exam council meeting chaired by the former Vice Chancellor Prof. Surendra Pratap Singh decided to hold PAT-2023 in July 2023. Since then, PG pass students have been preparing diligently for the exam.
Reservation for PhD Seats
Dr. Vinod Kumar Ojha, the examination controller at Lalit Narayan Mithila University, stated that 50% of the seats for PhD will be reserved for UGC NET, UGC CSIR NET, Gate, and CEED qualified students as per the Governor’s directives. This ensures a fair opportunity for eligible candidates to pursue their PhD at the university.
ललित नारायण मिथिला विश्वविद्यालय में PHD करने के लिए अब आसान नहीं रह गया है। NET-JRF उत्तीर्ण अभ्यर्थियों को कुल सीट के 50 प्रतिशत पर मिले आरक्षण ने PHD करने का मनसूबा संजोए अभ्यर्थियों के सारे समीकरण बिगाड़ दिए हैं। अब कुल रिक्त सीटों में 50 प्रतिशत तो JRF.आगामी पीएचडी प्रवेश परीक्षा-2023 का 50 प्रतिशत सीट अपने स्तर पर पीएचडी प्रवेश परीक्षा के माध्यम से भरेगा। इसके लिए निर्धारित सीटों में से 50 प्रतिशत सीट NET उत्तीर्ण शोधार्थियों के लिए आरक्षित होंगे। विश्वविद्यालय में पीएचडी प्रवेश परीक्षा (पैट-2023) का आयोजन नवंबर माह में होगा। अब राज्यपाल ने भी यह निर्देश दिया है कि अगर किसी विषय विशेष में UGC NET, UGC CSIR NET, Gate और सीईईडी अहंता के छात्र उपलब्ध नहीं होते हैं, तो इस श्रेणी के रिक्त सीटों को पीएचडी प्रवेश परीक्षा के मेधा सूची के आधार पर आरक्षण रोस्टर का पालन करते हुए भरा जाएगा।
