Accident in Supaul Leads to Death of Man
An accident involving a speeding vehicle in Supaul on Sunday evening left a person injured. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries on Monday while undergoing treatment. The incident took place on Ganpatganj-Pipra Main Road NH-106 near Satkodariya village in the Raghopur police station area.
Victim Identified as Asarfi Sharma
The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Asarfi Sharma, a resident of Satkodariya village in the Dumari Panchayat area under the Raghopur police station. He leaves behind two daughters and two sons. The news of his death has shocked his family and relatives.
Vehicle Hits Sharma Near Canal
According to local officials, the accident occurred as Sharma was heading towards a canal near his home for defecation on Sunday evening. A speeding vehicle on NH-106 near the canal collided with him, causing severe injuries. The vehicle driver fled the scene after the accident.
Police Investigation Underway
The injured Sharma was rushed to the hospital with the help of locals and later referred to DMCH Darbhanga for better treatment. From there, he was further referred to a higher center for treatment. Despite efforts, he passed away during treatment on Monday. Police are investigating the incident to apprehend the driver and understand the circumstances of the accident.
सुपौल में तेज रफ्तार वाहन की टक्कर से एक व्यक्ति जख्मी हो गया और उसकी मौत हो गई। घटना राघोपुर थाना क्षेत्र के सतकोदरिया गांव के पास गनपतगंज-पिपरा मेन रोड एनएच-106 पर हुई। मृतक की पहचान राघोपुर थाना क्षेत्र के सतकोदरिया गांव निवासी 39 साल के असर्फी शर्मा के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए सदर अस्पताल सुपौल भेज दिया है और जांच जारी है।
