Protest in Bhabua in Support of ANM and Staff Nurses
In Bhabua city of Kaimur, district-wide ANM and staff nurses staged a one-day protest in support of their demands. They raised slogans against Nitish Kumar and Health Minister Mangal Pandey. The protest saw the presence of ANM and staff nurses from across the district. The protest also received support from the Mahagathbandhan.
Main Demands of the Protest
Several leaders of the Mahagathbandhan participated in the protest and stated that if their demands are not met, they will continue to protest as per the call of the union. The main demands included equal pay for equal work, immediate payment of pending salaries, and cancellation of facial attendance system.
Key Points of the Protest
The President and Secretary of the union, Dhananjay Kumar Singh and Sushma Kumari, informed that the protest was held at the district headquarters in support of their demands. A memorandum will be submitted to the Civil Surgeon outlining the demands, which include equal pay for equal work, unconditional state employee status for workers, and discontinuation of facial attendance system for NHM employees.
Future Course of Action
If the government does not consider their demands, the union members have stated that they will be forced to continue protesting as per the union’s call. The protesters have a total of 9 demands, and if not addressed, they will be compelled to carry out further protests in the future.
कैमूर के भभुआ शहर में अपनी मांगों के समर्थन में जिले भर की एएनएम और स्टाफ नर्स ने एक दिवसीय धरना दिया। इन्होंने नीतीश कुमार और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री मंगल पांडे के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की। इस धरना प्रदर्शन में पूरे जिले भर की एएनएम और स्टाफ नर्स मौजूद रहे। धरना को महागठबंधन का भी समर्थन मिला और धरना प्रदर्शन में कई महागठबंधन के नेता भी शामिल थे। मुख्य मांगों में समान काम का समान वेतन, बकाए वेतन का अविलंब भुगतान, फेस विधि से उपस्थित को निरस्त करने का मांग रखी गई थी। धरना के बाद संघ के अध्यक्ष और सचिव ने विचार सरकार को सौंपने की धमकी दी और अगर मांगों पर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया तो आंदोलन करने की धमकी दी।
