Suspicious Death of Married Woman in Chand Thana Area of Kamur
In the village of Saukhara in the Chand Thana area of Kamur, a married woman died under suspicious circumstances. The relatives of the deceased informed the police of Chand Thana about the incident. Upon receiving the information, the police sent the body for postmortem to Sadar Hospital in Bhabhua. The in-laws informed the relatives of the incident by calling the people on the bride’s side. The relatives revealed that the bride was harassed by the in-laws multiple times for money, leading to suspicions of murder. Currently, no external injury marks have been found on any part of the woman’s body. The police have conducted an FSL investigation.
Identification of the Deceased Woman and Allegations of Harassment
The deceased woman has been identified as Shilpi Tiwari, the 28-year-old wife of Ghanashyam Tiwari from Saukhara village in the Chand Thana area. The woman’s brother, Trilochan Pandey, stated that his sister was harassed multiple times by the in-laws for money. They even gave money on several occasions. On the night before the incident, they had spoken to everyone. In the morning, the father-in-law called to inform them of the incident. Following this, they all arrived at the scene. They suspect that the murder of his sister was due to money issues.
Investigation by Chand Thana Police
The Chand Thana President stated that they received information about the death of a woman in her in-laws’ home. No external marks were found on the woman’s body. The relatives reported that she was sleeping at home, and when she didn’t wake up in the morning, they tried to wake her. When there was no response, they informed the police. The body was sent for postmortem. An application has been filed by the bride’s family. The clear picture of the incident will only be revealed after the postmortem report is received.
