Tragic Incident in Sheikhpura

In a tragic incident in the remote Karande Thana area of Sheikhpura, the operator of a water supply center lost his life due to an electric current. The deceased, identified as Mahesh Mahato, was the 40-year-old son of Mishri Mahato from Siyani village. The operator was electrocuted while trying to start the motor for the water supply in Ward No. 14 of the village.

Immediate Medical Attention

After the incident, Mahesh Mahato was rushed to the Sadar Hospital for treatment but was declared dead by the doctors. He had been working as an operator at the water supply center in Siyani village under Chevra block of the past three to four years. The family is devastated by the loss, and mourning has spread throughout the village.

Police Investigation

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police team arrived at the Sadar Hospital and sent the body for post-mortem. Karande Thana in-charge and Police Sub-Inspector Rinku Ranjan stated that further action will be taken after a written complaint is filed regarding the incident. The community is in shock and demanding a thorough investigation into the matter.
