Construction of Planetarium in Motihari
Students in Motihari will no longer have to travel to Patna to visit the planetarium as the government has initiated the construction of a planetarium in Motihari itself. The government has identified three acres of land for this purpose and the report has been submitted to the authorities.
Significance for Motihari District
Motihari, being the second largest district after Patna, is a significant location for the construction of the planetarium. Students in the region usually had to visit Patna to witness the planetarium. The government’s decision to have the planetarium in Motihari will save time and resources for the students.
Land Identification and Inspection
Three acres of land near the Polytechnic College in Luvuathahari has been earmarked for the planetarium. The District Magistrate, Saurabh Jorwal, personally inspected the site and directed the officials to begin the survey and demarcation process for the construction.
Benefits for Students
The chosen location for the planetarium is ideal as it is equipped with ITI, Polytechnic College, and student hostels. This will provide students with easy access to geographical information without the need to travel elsewhere for educational purposes.
