Poonam Paswan appointed as member of screening committee by All India Congress Committee
The All India Congress Committee has appointed former MLA Poonam Paswan as a member of the screening committee for the upcoming Jharkhand Legislative Assembly elections. She arrived in Katihar from Patna for the first time, where Congress workers welcomed her with drums and trumpets.

Poonam Paswan expressed her happiness at the warm welcome she received and stated that the party has entrusted her, as a small worker, with a significant responsibility. She thanked Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and K.C. Venugopal for their support, as well as the Congress workers in Katihar and Koderma.
Large number of women welcome Poonam Paswan, praise her leadership
Women made up a significant portion of the welcoming party and praised Poonam Paswan for being a leader connected to the grassroots, stating that her induction has increased the respect and dignity of women. District Congress President Prem Rai acknowledged the enhanced reputation of the district Congress due to Paswan’s induction at the national level.

A large number of Congress workers, including Kumar Meena, Prem Rai, Amarjeet Yadav, Mashrur Alam, Saurabh Kumar, Rakesh Yadav, and many others, were present at the event, indicating strong support for Poonam Paswan’s leadership and the Congress party in the region.
अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी ने आगामी झारखंड विधानसभा चुनाव में पूर्व विधायक पूनम पासवान को स्क्रीनिंग कमेटी का सदस्य बनाया है। उन्होंने पटना से कटिहार तक रेलवे सफर किया और उन्हें कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ताओं ने ढोल-नगाड़े गाजकर स्वागत किया। पूनम पासवान ने अपने मनोनयन के लिए कांग्रेस के नेताओं का आभार व्यक्त किया और महिलाओं ने उन्हें जमीन से जुड़ी नेता माना। प्रदेश कांग्रेस के प्रतिनिधि ने भी उनका मान-सम्मान बढ़ाने के लिए कांग्रेस नेतृत्व को बधाई दी। इस अवसर पर कई कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ता भी मौजूद थे।
