Bihar Police Constable Recruitment Exam Starts from Today
The Bihar Police Constable recruitment exam conducted by the Central Selection Board will begin today. The exam will run until August 28. The exam was canceled in October 2023 due to paper leaks. This time, the Bihar Police team is fully prepared to conduct a successful exam. 28 exam centers have been set up in Patna, including AN College and government schools in the Gardanibagh area. To prevent any discrepancies, the Bihar Police is utilizing modern technology and has deployed various teams, including the cyber cell, economic crime unit, CID, social media cell, among others.
Written Exam Schedule and Guidelines
The written exam for the recruitment will be held on August 11, 18, 21, 25, and 28, 2024. The exam will be conducted on OMR sheets in six shifts, with one shift per day from 12 pm to 2 pm. Candidates must report to the exam centers at 9:30 am, and entry to the exam center will be closed at 10 am. Candidates are not allowed to bring any writing materials such as pens or pencils to the exam center. The necessary writing materials will be provided along with the OMR sheet.
Prohibition on Cheating and Fraud
Candidates are advised not to engage in any misinformation or fraud through social media or any other means. Any suspicious activity should be reported to the nearest police station or cyber cell immediately. Candidates should not have any personal contact with the Central Selection Board through telephone, mobile, or social media. Any communication will be through registered email or mobile numbers provided during the application process. If contacted through any other means, candidates should report it to the police station.
Cyber Cell Monitoring
The Central Selection Board, Police Headquarters, and state government have completed all preparations for the exam. Monitoring of social media and other platforms related to the exam has begun. Extensive arrangements have been made for a clean exam at the exam centers. Each classroom and important locations will be monitored via CCTV, with live feeds sent to the control room at the headquarters. Jammers have been installed in each room to prevent signal interference, and hotline phones have been set up for direct communication with center directors.
