Medical Treatment of Injured Youth
The medical treatment of an injured youth is being carried out under the supervision of Dr. Vikas in Bhojpur’s Sikrahata Thana area. The incident took place near Sikraul Bridge on Fatehpur-Ramnagar road on Monday night when cloth merchant Sunil Singh was shot during a robbery.
Successful Operation by Dr. Vikas Singh
Famous surgeon Dr. Vikas Singh successfully operated on the gunshot wound of the cloth merchant at a private hospital in Babu Bazar, Ara city, saving his life. The bullet had lodged in the lower part of the abdomen, causing severe damage to the liver, small intestine, and large intestine.
Recovery of the Patient
The bullet that was shot into the chest during the robbery has been removed through surgery, and bypass surgery for all three affected parts has also been performed. The patient’s condition is stable now, although he is still under observation. The injured cloth merchant is Sunil Kumar, a 35-year-old resident of Patkhauli village in Sikrahata Thana area.
Details of the Robbery Incident
Armed robbers had first stopped the cloth merchant’s bike near Sikraul Bridge on Fatehpur-Ramnagar canal road on Monday night, verbally abused him, and then robbed him of his gold chain and ten thousand rupees in cash before shooting him. The cash of the CSP was saved, and after initial treatment at a local hospital, the injured was referred to PMCH, Patna for further treatment.
