Tragic Accident in Bettiah
In a tragic incident in Bettiah, a man lost his life after being hit by a speeding bike. The incident took place in the Narkatiya village of the Shikarpur police station area in the district. The police arrived at the scene and sent the body for postmortem.
Victim’s Identity Revealed
The victim was identified as RamSagar Sah, a 50-year-old resident of Ward No. 11 in Narkatiya, Bettiah. Following requests from the family, an FIR will be filed against the unknown bike rider responsible for the accident.
Details of the Incident
According to the victim’s nephew, Akhilesh Kumar, RamSagar Sah was out for a walk on the village road after dinner on Monday night. It was during this time that a speeding bike rider hit him and fled the scene. The family rushed him to the Narkatiyaganj sub-district hospital for treatment.
Tragic End at the Hospital
Despite receiving primary treatment at the sub-district hospital, RamSagar Sah’s condition deteriorated, and he was referred to the Bettiah Government Medical College Hospital. Unfortunately, he passed away during the course of treatment at the hospital.
