Bihar Police is expanding its training centers to better prepare new recruits.
In Bihar, there’s good news for those looking to join the police force. The state government plans to increase the number of police training centers. Currently, there are two centers located in Nathnagar and Dumraon, which can train about 11,000 soldiers. With new centers coming up, this capacity is expected to rise to around 20,000.
One of the new training centers will be set up in Katoria, Banka. The government has already approved the transfer of 51.40 acres of land for this purpose. Additionally, there’s already construction work underway for a third center in Simultala, and there are plans for a fifth center in either Bettiah or Motihari.
This expansion means better training opportunities for around 20,000 soldiers being recruited each year into Bihar Police. The new center in Banka will not only focus on basic training but also provide service training for the recruits. Furthermore, 46 acres of land has been allocated for BSAP-5 in Katoria.
To improve living conditions for police officers, residential buildings are also being built for various ranks, including the Patna Rural SP. The government has set aside ₹2.42 crore for these constructions, showing a commitment to better infrastructure for police personnel.
As the new training centers open, it will be easier for recruits to receive quality training. This move is aimed at ensuring that the police force is well-equipped and ready to serve the community effectively in the future.
