A police raid in Motihari rescued over 100 young people from a job scam operated by the DBR gang.

Motihari police recently conducted a major operation against the DBR gang, who have been luring young people with false job promises. This raid took place in a house owned by Shambhu Sah in Chhota Bariyarpur village, where police worked for eight hours to rescue more than 100 hostages.

During the raid, it was discovered that over 90 of the rescued individuals had fallen victim to the gang’s fraudulent activities. The police arrested 11 suspects on the spot, and investigations are ongoing to find the leaders of this network. In addition, police also attempted to raid the gang’s office nearby, but the suspects fled before they could be caught.

The DBR gang had been using social media to trick young people, charging them up to ₹25,000 in the name of job training kits. Those who were trapped were then held against their will and forced to sell various products. Many of the victims came from different states, seeking better job opportunities.

The police learned about this illegal activity through a tip-off and quickly formulated a plan to raid the location. The operation was led by senior officers and involved a large police force, ensuring the safety of the rescued individuals.

Moving forward, police are questioning the arrested suspects to uncover more details about the operation and other accomplices. Authorities have warned young people to be cautious and vigilant when searching for job opportunities online to avoid falling victim to such scams.
