BSRTC is launching a special bus service from September 20, 2025, just in time for the festival season. This service will connect several states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana, and West Bengal. Starting from September 1, online ticket booking will also be available for travelers.

During the festival time, many people travel from Delhi to Bihar. To meet the high demand, BSRTC plans to operate 65 buses from various cities like Patna, Muzaffarpur, Purnia, Gayaji, and Darbhanga to Anand Vihar in Delhi. These buses will leave between 2 PM and 8 PM, and there will be special arrangements for 30 buses going to Haryana, with AC seater and sleeper options.

Passengers can expect buses at different times for major routes. For instance, buses from Kolkata to Patna will run at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM. From Ghaziabad, buses will leave for Patna at 2 PM, while buses from Delhi to Gayaji will start at 1:30 PM, 4 PM, and 9 PM.

For the Patna-Delhi route, the total fare for an AC bus will be Rs 1,873, with the government providing a subsidy of Rs 1,254. The non-AC bus fare will be Rs 1,527, with a subsidy of Rs 394. The AC sleeper bus fare will be Rs 2,812, with Rs 919 coming from the government as a subsidy.

To make the journey easier, all buses will offer digital payment options through UPI, debit cards, and net banking. This special service will run from September 20 to November 30, 2025, ensuring a safe and affordable travel experience during the busy festival season.
